2617 W. Main Street is a four-unit urban infill construction project that was meant to blend into the surrounding neighborhood. The project serves as an example of appropriate infill and is one of the first new construction projects in the neighborhood.
The Johannas Design Group and Blackwood Development Company have partnered on a number of projects including the Trolley at Main & Vine, Eclipse Apartments, 1302 Floyd Avenue and 1718 E. Franklin Street. 2617 W. Main Street is the third project on which the two firms collaborated.
