1718 E. Franklin Street has been abandoned for the past twenty years, and will be rehabilitated through a joint-venture effort between Blackwood Development Company and UrbanCore Construction. Conveniently sited in the Shockoe Bottom district, the building will feature 1,000 square feet of fully renovated retail space.
The Johannas Design Group will serve as the architect on the project. The Johannas Group and Blackwood Development Company have collaborated on a number of projects including the Trolley at Main & Vine, Eclipse Apartments, 2617 W. Main Street and 1302 Floyd Avenue.
